I wanted to do a fun spin-off of the classic Red White and Blue SVG and came up with this cute Red White and BEE Grateful Design.

It’s hard to tell from the picture above as my lights reflect with the glitter HTV but there are blue stars in the Bee’s wings!

Keep in mind too that the Red White and BEE Grateful design is available for all cutting machines, coming in the following file types:

.SVG
.PNG
.DXF
.EPS

Plus this design would be cute on cards, signs & pillows for a few more suggestions.

With so much going on in our current world today, I couldn’t help but design something that mentions gratitude. I wouldn’t be myself if I couldn’t at least spread a little positivity! I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it.

RED WHITE AND BEE GRATEFUL T-SHIRT USING GLITTER HTV

I want to mention that you should not layer glitter HTV (heat transfer vinyl) on top of glitter HTV.

Luckily there are tool options or workarounds for your particular cutting machine’s software to use when you want the “look” of layered glitter HTV.

You only need to use those options if the design file is not already separated into individual layers.

Luckily for you, I designed this file already prepared (all layers separated) to use Glitter HTV plus I made an extra Bee for those who want to use the layers for a cardstock project or to layer regular (non-glitter) HTV.

GLITTER T-SHIRT PROJECT SUPPLIES

Gray T-shirt (I chose Gray so I could use White Glitter HTV)
Glitter HTV
A cutting machine, I used this one.
A heat press, I used this one today.
Teflon sheet
Weeding Tools
Ball Stylus Tools (optional)
Weeding Flower Cup (optional)
Hands-free magnifying lighted glasses
Brightpad (optional)

QUICK VIEW STEPS

Download Free Red White and Bee Grateful SVG.

Upload the SVG into Cricut Design Space.

Ungroup files in the layers panel.

I created two Bees. The Bee in the picture below is prepared to “NOT” layer on top of “ANY” layers. If you are using only Glitter HTV as I am today, this is the Bee you want to use for this project.

The Bee in the picture above, on the bottom of the canvas, has separate layers but is meant to layer on top of each other. This is great for regular HTV or paper projects. If you are using only Glitter HTV this is the Bee layer you can hide for now as you won’t need it to cut today.

Now, let’s size the project. Select all your layers and change the width at the top of Cricut Design Space to your desired size. For reference, I sized this project to 9.5″ for use on a size Large T-shirt.

Be sure to attach all like colors together. So for the Red color, you would select the word RED from the layers panel, hold down your shift key, select the Red stripes of the Bee from the layers panel, and then click on “attach”.

Do this process for each color that has 2 or more objects or layers.

Now click on “Make It”

Select your Cricut machine and materials. Be sure to “mirror” each mat if using HTV or Infusible Ink.

Once you are ready to cut you will only need your fine point blade loaded into your machine.

If using HTV be sure to place the shiny side down on the mat. You can use the green standard Cricut mat. Today, I used my purple mat for the Glitter HTV because my green standard mat is not very sticky right now.

Proceed to cut each color of the Glitter HTV and then weed each color.

Once weeding is complete, you are ready to use your Heat Press of choice to adhere the Glitter HTV to the T-Shirt.

Now you can admire your T-Shirt and Share your Patriatisim all over town!
