Anyone love repurposing like I do? This project is repurposing a new thing, the Cricut Tote Bag made for use with Infusible Ink’s! I do love their tote bags, especially the feel of them. But I noticed I also loved the texture of it!
When I bought a couple of their large size tote bags at Michaels, they were $11.99 at the time. As soon as I took one out of its bag and felt the material I was very pleased with the feel and the texture of the fabric itself. I am so not a fan of the stiff 100% Cotton Canvas type bags!
So, as usual, my mind begins to wonder….Hmmmmm what else can I do with this fabric ?!? Notice how in less than 10 seconds my mind went from tote bag to now its a fabric in my mind. Too funny as this is a sign you are quite capable of repurposing pretty much anything!
Boy did my mind jump all over the place. What this means for you is I have quite a few projects coming your way on using Cricut’s Infusible Ink Blanks. YaY!
Infusible Ink Art using a Cricut Tote Bag as fabric
The first idea I imagined was since I loved the look of the texture of the tote bags, why not create a design and use the Infusible Ink Transfer sheets and once completed put in a picture frame for my mantle or anywhere! This leaves the rest of the tote bag “fabric” projects to be seen on future posts 😊
