Want to know something funny about this blog post today? I am sitting here creating cards for you all and realized I am out of black ink. Which means I am unable to print any of these cards out to test or even take pictures of for this blog post! I am like seriously? Could the timing be any worse.
Oh well, this is all part of the process of life. So in the meantime, until my ink arrives by mail I’ll share a screenshot of the.PDF version of the card which is what you will be getting from my Resource Library except the actual versions will be regular size.

The Cheers card
Bottom line, Dad deserves a cool beverage on his special day and honestly, it does not matter if it’s Root-beer or Beer, just make it a cold one! So with that, let’s Cheers to Dad’s all over!
Oops! I forgot to mention these cards are simply print onto regular letter size paper of your preferred weight or color and once printed there are simply two folds to make.
- Fold in half horizontally
- Fold in half vertically
- Bam! Done!
So when you look at these pictures, visualize the bottom half is the front and back of card. The top half is the inside of the card. Hope this helps!
The Dad & Girl card
C’mon, is this not precious! A little girl (and a big girl) always need to know their Father is there for them, no matter what! They are our Hero’s and Protectors.
The Daddy-Giraffe card
Another cuteness overload card. What’s not to love about the size difference of a Daddy Giraffe and a Baby Giraffe! Then we bring in the “Proud” factor, grab a tissue!

OK, well this card is simply so versatile as it can come from any age child, adult child, you get the picture. You’re either a fan or not of a card designed like this. If you need assistance, the green dude is Yoda, You’re killing me smalls! 🤦♀️😆

I can remember when one of my boys were little they asked “Is that Daddy’s Toy box”? So precious right!?! They just melt a Mama’s heart!
What is the best weight paper for printed cards
I just wanted to touch base on the weight of paper for a second. I prefer this awesome slightly speckled white paper and then I really love this light tan parchment paper too depending on what I’m printing. It’s so nice when you find a brand and color you love.
I personally prefer #65 weight paper for my printers. I use both inkjets and laser. This weight of paper just kicks up a project’s look instead of using regular copy paper. But, I’ve used copy paper in the past, so if that is what you have on hand, in today’s world use that copy paper!
