Learn how easy it is to make a 3D Layered Easter Egg Mandala. I love how each one can look so different while using multiple colors or one!
Today you are blessed as I also share along with my fellow Graphic Designers FREE Easter SVGS down below!
Happy blessings are good, celebrate!
I also love how you can put them together differently by either adding foam spacers or sticky dots and you can simply place each layer on top of each other and use some spray adhesive or craft glue. Plus, you can layer a couple of the layers and layer the more intricate layers with the spray adhesive.
So many options to choose from especially when you consider the huge variety of card stocks and glitter papers to choose from!
Another advantage to making these easy Easter Egg Mandalas is you get to choose to make them the size you want. I just love to place my Easter Mandala on my fireplace mantel. I have another area I keep for seasonal decor which means I can always make more than 1. Win-Win!
If you have the cute little Cricut Joy, you can even cut out this SVG Easter Egg with it, Yay!

It’s so much fun to see the color and paper choices we all come up with and you will be helping to inspire our newbie crafters 😊
Displaying your Easter Mandala
- My favorite is to place on an eisel stand to display
- Inside a shadow box, which helps keep the dust off, lol!
- Use it on an Easter Card
- Flattened to a print then cut and use it as a sticker!
- Add to a banner to hang
- Use the PNG file for sublimation projects
- Place 2 Easter Egg Mandalas back to back and hang with fishing line
Ok, I could go on and on, but you get the idea. So many choices using layered Easter Egg Mandalas.
BEST WAYS TO LAYER YOUR EASTER MANDALLA
I have found the best and easiest way to layer your mandala paper crafts is to place the foam spacers on the back of each layer. Some may refer to it as the underside of each layer. This way you can trust that the foam spacers you use won’t be seen when you are done layering your designs.
One more tip I share is to use parchment paper temporarily between parts of your layers when using spray adhesive. This helps you line up your project perfectly for each layer! Simply place your parchment paper about 2- 4 inches from the top of your layer and make sure it covers the rest of your design, past the bottom a bit.
Use your spray adhesive on the underside of the next layer and gently line it up and place it. Once you are sure it lines up perfectly, you can pull the parchment paper out and gently place the remaining paper layer down.
I use this same method when layering my vinyl projects!
