The Cricut EasyPress Mini is SO very cute and tiny! Let’s talk about a fun and easy Cricut EasyPress Mini Project which is simply just one of many ideas I”ve had.
But first, if you’ve not seen this cute thing in person yet, check out the picture. See what I mean? Adorable!!!

I’ve had a blast using this cute little EasyPress Mini since the day I bought it! Even the box says “Mini but Mighty”. I am actually surprised by the number of tasks I’ve used it for. Here is another project I used it for also using HTV (heat transfer vinyl).
OMGosh! Since I brought up Cricut EasyPress MiniProject, check out this super cute confetti one! It’s from Cori George from Hey, let’s make stuff.
Allow me to share the easy steps to complete this amazing project. I also have a video of this project shown down below if you prefer 😊

- Medium Setting for 25 Seconds
- Constant Movement, Light Pressure
- Warm Peel
- Allow 24 hrs prior to washing shoes

I just had to share the box picture!
Ok, let’s get back to applying the HTV to the shoes 👍
Prep your shoe by using Heat Resistant Tape to the rubber portion of your shoe, only if the iron may touch it while pressing.
Bonus Tip: This dispenser will fit the Cricut brand Heat Resistant Infusible Ink tape (will be loose but works great) or a 3″ core tape size which I recommended above (great budget-friendly price). It is such a pain to use these tapes without a dispenser! This dispenser works with a one-hand operation. Yay!
So since I was making these shoes as a gift, I protected the rubber on both shoes just in front and sides of the toes area.

Set your Cricut EasyPress Mini to Medium Heat

Pre-Heat Canvas Shoe 5 Seconds

Place weeded image on Canvas Shoe

Press time per Cricut’s Heat Guide, in this case, 25 sec.

For the rest of your images, you can use a Non-Stick Heat Pressing Sheet to protect what you’ve already pressed onto the Canvas Shoe.

Once all images are pressed, you are done! I’m telling you, this is SUCH an easy and budget-friendly Cricut EasyPress Project using HTV! I am looking forward to decorating our Grand-Daughter’s shoes next.
