FALL PUMPKIN DESIGN IDEAS
Table of Contents
There are a ton of options for this project depending on what materials you choose to use.
I will also note that I include 5 pumpkin-shaped panels with a different design for each one. You can use all 5 or even use just 4 to make a full pumpkin.
Use the same panel for the whole pumpkin or just use 2 designs if you prefer.
You could even use the plain pumpkin silhouettes that are included and slice your own designs out of them or leave them plain but let your paper choice be the star of the show!
Or perhaps choose some cute images and print them onto the pumpkins.
See what I mean, there are a ton of options for your creativity to have fun.
I only wish I had more time to make a few more different designs to help inspire you!

HOW TO ASSEMBLE A 3D STAND-UP PUMPKIN
Once you’ve uploaded the file into Cricut Design Space, Designed and Cut out your pumpkin, follow the pictures below for super easy assembly!
I am always tickled when a stunning 3D project is this easy to put together!
Glue your stems to each pumpkin base (solid pumpkin) piece. I used this glue & this paper
I used a ruler and a pencil to center and outline where I wanted to glue the stems so they will all line up perfectly when gluing all the pumpkin panels together.

Next, glue your panel pieces to the base pieces. Your stem will now be in between the base piece and the design piece.
Bonus Tip: If I were to make these again, I’d use a little more glue and perhaps even a paintbrush or foam brush to coat the glue more evenly. You most definitely want to allow the glue to “fully” dry before you bend each pumpkin to assemble it all together.
By waiting for the glue to dry, you will prevent any ripples in your design providing you used enough glue. You can try spray glue if you have a strong one and you are comfortable precisely lining up the two pieces.

Once you add the glue you can place it directly on your solid base pumpkin piece. Be “sure” it dried fully before proceeding to the next step!
Once all panels are dry, you can bend them and apply glue to one side and match them up to the next panel.
You can choose to use 4 or 5 panels.

Next, I glued 3 leaves to the stem (see below).
You can add ribbon or twine around the stem if you like. You can also use distress inks on the edges of the cardstock if you like too! Just have fun!

That’s it! Super easy right? I can’t wait to see yours, remember you can share them here, or feel free to email me a picture if you prefer, I’d really love to see them!!!
